Job Description
Wage Range – $36.63 – $52.50/hour
Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Princess Court
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you’ll coordinate, implement, and supervise resident-centered nursing care in accordance with Ministry standards, CNO guidelines, and our Home’s policies.
Qualifications:
- Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in gerontological nursing an asset
- Post-RN education in gerontology preferred
- Computer proficiency an asset
- Clear criminal reference check and TB testing as per Ministry standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily nursing care and staffing
- Supervise and support RPNs and PSWs
- Ensure resident care plans are developed and followed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety protocols
- Advocate for resident rights and holistic care
