Lead ILS Engineer

Dunfermline Up to £55 per hour (Umbrella) 6-month contract

Very flexible working arrangements! We are currently seeking an experienced Lead ILS Engineer to join a defence focused engineering team in Dunfermline. This is a key role requiring a hands on senior engineer who can deliver Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) activities while also providing guidance and direction to team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver ILS activities across the full product lifecycle
  • Lead and support ILS workstreams, ensuring high quality outputs
  • Provide guidance, tasking, and oversight to other engineers within the team
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to support programme delivery
  • Ensure compliance with industry and defence standards

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior or Lead ILS Engineer
  • Strong background in ILS methodologies and deliverables
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate engineering activities
  • Experience within naval or wider defence environments preferred
  • Use of Reliasoft software an advantage.

Additional Information

  • Security Clearance: SC required (BPSS considered initially)
  • Hybrid working may be available depending on candidate suitability
