Senior Clinical Fellow in Advanced Endoscopy (ERCP)

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Clinical Fellow (ST6+ Level or POST CCT level) in Advanced Endoscopy (ERCP/EUS) at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This is an exciting opportunity to develop special expertise in Advanced Endoscopy. The post is a fixed term, 12 month, starting on 5th August 2026 and ending on 4th August 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Attend 3 4 specialist training lists and 3 4 service endoscopy lists per week.
  • Participate in one outpatient clinic as required.
  • Provide time for administration, continued professional development and research activities.
  • No requirement for ward work or on call duties.

Qualifications

  • JAG accreditation (or equivalent). A CCST/CCT/CESR (CP) in Gastroenterology or a related specialty is desirable.
  • At least one year of training in grade I ERCP.
  • Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC (must be in place prior to starting).
  • Post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training.
