About the Role
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Coordinator, within our Dundee manufacturing site. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the supply planning process in the translation of product needs for our clients into a plan that delivers those products on time, in full. Assisting in creation and maintenance of inventory management reports to track inventory performance, supplier schedules, client materials reconciliation to optimize inventory levels and supplier delivery performance. Maintenance of BOM to support costing accuracy. Supporting the Interface between customer and manufacturing site, this role is responsible for supporting delivery of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and driving the resolution of any constraints to the satisfaction of the client.
This is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract for mat cover.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the Supply Planners in optimizing Customer Service through planning finished goods delivery on time in full and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Support the interpretation and validation of client product forecast updates & Processing of client orders.
- Create & Coordinate client inventory reconciliation reports in a timely manner to ensure accurate alignment on client supplied materials.
- Monitor, Process and Execute Supplier & Client chargebacks to ensure timely recovery of material costs.
- Ensure Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) parameters are regularly reviewed and updated.
- On a regular basis ensure MRP is updated to reflect our current demand and supply plan.
- Support the scheduling of material delivery using MRP across all raw materials/excipients, labels and packaging components in accordance with Argenta inventory policy.
- Support the Supply Planners in coordinating the On Time in Full delivery of manufacturing materials with the vendor base.
- Ensure all inventories are planned and utilised to maximise Just-In-Time supply and avoid obsolescence through timely creation of inventory reports.
- Play an active role in Supply Chain initiatives. Represent Supply Chain as part of the New Product Introductions (NPI) project team. This will involve implementation of Product line extensions (i.e. different pack sizes or labels to an item already supplied to the market).
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Quality & technical teams on site to ensure timely supply of information enabling optimal flow and delivery of materials to meet demand profiles.
Qualifications
- High School/ GCSE Standard Education level
- B.S or B.A degree in an applicable field is a plus, but not essential
