South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Facilities Assistant (Catering) to join their team at the Hamilton Town House.

This is a varied and hands on role supporting our food and beverage operations across the venue, including weddings, functions, meetings and theatre bar service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food to a high standard.
  • Provide a comprehensive catering service for weddings, private functions and corporate meetings.
  • Operate and assist with running our theatre bars.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene, health and a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Previous catering or hospitality experience is essential.
  • Valid REHIS qualification required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Foreign police check required if you have lived or worked abroad for 3 months or more consecutively in the last 10 years.
