Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Excavation Engineer to join our Aberdeen depot due to our increased workload.

Key details

Salary: up to £14.50 per hour depending on experience

Location: Aberdeen

Hours: 40 hours per week

Role responsibilities

You will work as part of a two-person team on groundwork projects, including:

• Small to medium civils works
• Drainage-related repairs
• Deep and shallow excavation
• Pipe work renewals
• Reinstatements
• General ground works

Your schedule will vary to include all types of clients and worksites, from commercial and residential to industrial, rail, road and utility across the region. You will be part of our award-winning health and safety programme which covers all aspects of your life at Lanes.

About you

• Full Driving Licence (required) with no more than 6 penalty points

Desirable qualifications

• NRSWA Streetworks
• Machine ticket (excavator above/below 10t)
• Confined space level 2 and above
• Cat & Genny Location
• Shoring
• CSCS
• Manual Handling
• First Aid at Work

Training

Full training will be given.
