Job Description
We offer an exciting opportunity to join the Commissioning Team within the Education, Children and Justice Services Directorate.
The successful applicant will commission and contract manage multiple provisions for children’s and young people’s care and support services, supporting and delivering the key objectives of the service.
You will work with internal and external multidisciplinary teams to find the best solutions through local and national contracting agreements, collaborating with procurement and finance teams and partners to deliver on agreed KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Commission and contract manage multiple provisions for children’s and young people’s care and support services.
- Deliver service objectives and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers.
- Work across local and national contracting agreements.
Qualifications
- Social Worker or Registered Manager preferred.
- Obtain a Level 1 Disclosure Scotland. If you have spent 3 months or more abroad in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with procurement and finance teams.
- Energetic, agile, creative, kind and trauma informed, with skills in relationship and strengths based social work.
