Job Summary
Crown Medical Practice is seeking a highly motivated Medical Receptionist to join our friendly primary care team.
Qualifications
You must have experience in dealing with the public, would be capable to work across all aspects of practice administration and have good IT skills. Previous experience of working in a medical practice would be highly desirable but not essential as full training will be provided – finding the right person to fit in the team is most important.
Responsibilities
The job role is to provide support to the patients, doctors, practice manager, and all other members of the extended Primary Care Team, by ensuring smooth running of the Practice on a day to day basis as an integral part of the administration team. The practice is located in the centre of Inverness and we have a very friendly practice team who like to socialise outside of work as well.
Working Hours
We are looking for someone who will be working 24 hours per week. This can be worked over 3 full days or 4 shorter days. If working three full days, the work pattern will include 8am starts and 6pm finishes on a rota basis. Days of work to be discussed but will likely fall on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays with the 4th day to be decided if opting to work 4 shorter days. There will be possibilities of working additional hours to cover for annual leave and/or sick leave when the need arises.
Salary
Starting salary is a minimum of £13/hour, depending on experience. The hourly rate will increase to at least £14.57 upon successful completion of the probationary period.
