HWRC Operative – Blantyre / Hourly rate: £12.91
Shift pattern:
April to September: Monday to Friday 07:45 to 19:15; Saturday 07:45 to 18:15; Sunday 07:45 to 17:15
October to March: 07:45 to 17:15, 7 days a week
Biffa is looking for a HWRC Operative to assist the public at our Blantyre Household Waste Recycling Centre with recycling and waste.
Your core responsibilities
- Working with the public to maximise recycling on site
- Manual handling items on site assisting the public with various waste and recycling
- Helping to ensure the site is clean and tidy at all times
- Being proactive in promoting and maintaining a safe and friendly working environment
Our essential requirements
- Experience in dealing with the general public
- Good people skills
- Experience in the waste industry helpful but not essential
- Will be required to work weekends
Essential
- Must have a full UK driving licence
- Must have own transport
