Harvey Nichols is seeking an Assistant Retail Security Manager to join the team in Edinburgh, a destination for modern luxury and cutting-edge design.
As the new Assistant Security Manager, you will oversee store security and loss prevention by managing security resources, enforcing policies, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations, conducting investigations, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role
- Work with managers to minimize stock loss and ensure building, staff, and asset security.
- Maintain a safe environment for staff, customers, and contractors.
- Provide efficient, courteous service to all stakeholders.
- Identify and deliver team training needs.
- Investigate suspected criminal acts per legal requirements.
- Monitor stock movement paperwork and manage guard services.
- Maintain and check all security equipment regularly.
- Keep accurate records and manage visitor/contractor procedures.
- Prevent loss through security awareness and stock checks.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Build strong internal and external relationships on security matters.
Is this you?
- SIA License
- Previous experience working within security in a customer facing environment and overseeing an In House and Contractor guard service.
- Great communication skills
