We’re looking for a detail obsessed, midnight multitasker Night Auditor to balance the books while the city sleeps at The Hoxton, Edinburgh.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you’ll support the night shifts and ensure our guest experience never flags – even at night.

What you’ll do
- Ensure the guest experience never flags at night, treating guests as individuals and making their stay special – the Hox way.
- Handle the coming and going of guests, ensuring all bills are correct and contain no surprise charges.
- Collaborate with all teams to keep operations busy and assist the Night Manager with any overbooking levels.
- Carry out night audit procedures accurately, report discrepancies and ensure quick resolution.
- Answer phones, sort out requests and any issues that arise, acting as the one stop shop for guests.
- Assist the Night Manager with end of day procedures.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while resolving challenges.
- Ensure guest safety overnight while they are sleeping.
What we’re looking for
- Passion for hospitality – whether that’s a drink, a meal, an event or a bed.
- Positive, helpful attitude and the ability to work independently in a small team.
- Comfortable handling of front desk operating systems like Opera Cloud or similar.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to treat each guest as a unique individual.
- Resilience and a willingness to tackle challenges without being flustered.
