Contract Type: Permanent (Full Time)
Hours: 40 hours per week , Normal working hours 10:00 – 18:30, flexibility to work 06:30 – 15:00 to provide holiday cover would be beneficial

Must be able to participate in a weekend working rota on a 1 in 4 basis, Saturday, and Sunday 07:00 – 11:00 followed by a rest day on Monday

Willing to participate in a rota to provide Bank Holiday cover
Salary: Minimum Wage plus £50 per week shift allowance

Location: British Airways, 12 Campsie Drive , Glasgow Airport, Paisley, East Renfrewshire, Scotland, PA3 2SG

Main Duties

• To ensure the smooth operation of an aviation maintenance facility. To work as part of a small but diligent team providing soft and hard facilities services for the site.
• Cleaning of facility including industrial hangar / workshop areas and support office areas including toilets and welfare facilities.
• Assistance with waste management, porterage and managing material deliveries.
• FOD checks of external hangar apron.
• Changing of consumable supplies for the client.
• Assisting hard services technicians as additional labour where required.
• Limited grounds maintenance (including winter gritting and surface treatment).

• A flexible and diligent team player. Must be able to adapt to changing operational circumstances. Strong customer care skills. Effective communicator.
• To be considered the candidate must have either a current Passport or Photo Driving Licence.
