Caledonian is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen teams at our hotel, . This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about food and looking to build a rewarding career in the hospitality industry within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and production of food items in line with agreed standards.

• Working collaboratively as part of the wider kitchen and restaurant team.

• Ensuring all food is prepared and presented to a high standard and within required timeframes.

• Having a good understanding of the daily menu and your responsibilities within it.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area, including correct storage of ingredients and equipment.

• Adhering to food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.

• Complying with hotel policies, procedures and health & safety regulations.

• Have a positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.

• Be self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Be a reliable team player with a willingness to support colleagues.

• Be flexible and able to work a variety of shift patterns, including weekends and holidays.
