Job Description
The Role:
With health, safety, and customer satisfaction the main priority, as an Operative on our Scottish Water contract, you will be responsible for undertaking CCTV inspections of drainage across Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and on occasions Aberdeen).
This role is perfect if you enjoy being outdoors, regardless of the weather conditions – that said we’ll make sure you have the very best uniform and personal protective equipment to keep you comfortable.
Activities:
- Investigation of drains and undertaking remedial works
- Ensure your activities minimise disruption to residents and also meet with client requirements
- Reporting any incidents, accidents, and damage to sewers
- Delivering, collecting and exchanging VMS equipment etc.
Qualifications:
A full and current driving licence is essential, as is similar CCTV Unit experience.
NRSWA, SLG, and emergency first aid certifications.
A great attitude and a good understanding of why operating safely is critical, along with excellent customer service and communications skills, as this role is operating in full view of the public and our customers.
On occasions overtime will be available during the week and weekends, so being able to do this is important.
