Retail Assistant – Part Time

Hours: 20 hours across 4 days per week.

Pay: £10.95 – £12.81 per hour, depending on age (: £10.95; 21+: £12.81).

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock carefully while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves for customers.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.

Qualifications

• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Readiness to work busy shifts, jumping between deliveries, tills, floor service, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliability as an important part of a small team; dependable to deliver best service on each shift.
• Flexibility to adjust shifts as needed – rota scheduled three weeks in advance.
• Successful completion of an Employment Verification check after offer.

Position: PTRA, Hours: 20, Days: 4.

Location: Farmfoods, Glasgow Road, Clydebank.
