About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented HGV Driver Operator to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations. What will you be doing?

  • Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
  • Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
  • Operating machinery attached or loaded onto the vehicle, and installing temporary roadways on site
  • Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
  • Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all time

About You What are we looking for?

  • Class C+E driving license – with no more than 6 points
  • Ability to operate machinery attached or loaded onto the vehicle
  • Experience of laying temporary road ways
  • HIAB license
  • CPC Certified
  • Tachograph card
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, you will be available for overnight stays in the cab Monday – Thursday
  • Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers
  • A polite manner at all times when visiting customer premises
  • Good geographical knowledge and Industry experience (desirable)
