Looking for a Project Manager role where you can take full ownership of delivery from start to finish? Join us to lead civil engineering and infrastructure projects – ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a hands on role, managing site teams, programmes, and client relationships while driving performance across every stage of the project lifecycle.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects from planning through to completion
  • Deliver works to agreed timelines, budgets, and specifications
  • Develop and maintain project programmes, tracking progress and performance
  • Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery
  • Allocate labour, plant, and materials to maximise productivity
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor performance against programme and standards
  • Create and manage safe systems of work, including RAMS
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities
  • Oversee quality assurance, inspections, audits, and project handovers
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout delivery

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies (e.g. highways, drainage, utilities, earthworks)
  • Experience managing budgets and commercial performanceGood knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
  • SMSTS (essential)
  • Black CSCS Card (essential)

Desirable

  • NEBOSH or IOSH
  • Temporary Works Coordinator
  • Appointed Person (Lifting)
  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (or working towards)
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations (2015)
