Job Description

Library Assistant – Foxbar

Grade 03 – £5,358.19 p.a. (£14.68 per hour). Temporary until 1 March 2027. Hours: 7 hours per week, every Saturday 9am 5pm with 1 hour lunch break.

Responsibilities

• Serve library users and provide an efficient, helpful and responsive service at all times.
• Contribute to the provision of an efficient library and information service.
• Consult with all sections of the local community to promote the benefits of library membership.
• Maintain an enthusiastic and flexible approach with a passion for books and reading.
• Be computer literate and demonstrate evidence of digital literacy.
• Provide excellent communication and customer care skills.
• Work at various locations across OneRen as required by business needs.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer care skills.
• Acceptance of PVG Disclosure Scotland check.
