Responsibilities
- Ensure customers can hire what they want, when they need it by efficiently servicing and maintaining a variety of plant and tools within the GAP fleet.
- Attend customer sites and breakdowns to maintain, identify and repair any faults or damage to GAP fleet equipment.
- Accurately update service records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a plant mechanic/fitter in a field-based role with a relevant mechanical qualification or equivalent time served.
- Sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Customer-focused approach and ability to handle workload as a committed team player.
- Valid driving licence.
