Responsibilities

• Ensure customers can hire what they want, when they need it by efficiently servicing and maintaining a variety of plant and tools within the GAP fleet.
• Attend customer sites and breakdowns to maintain, identify and repair any faults or damage to GAP fleet equipment.
• Accurately update service records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a plant mechanic/fitter in a field-based role with a relevant mechanical qualification or equivalent time served.
• Sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to handle workload as a committed team player.
• Valid driving licence.
