Head Teacher – Towerbank Primary School

Salary: £80,646 – £80,646; Hours: 35 per week

Qualifications and Requirements

The Standard for Headship is a mandatory requirement. Candidates lacking this qualification may be offered a temporary role for up to 30 months, subject to the panel’s confidence that the qualification will be achieved within that period. A permanent contract will be offered only upon successful completion. Failure to achieve the qualification within 30 months will result in contract termination and potential reversion to a DHT1 post.

Applicants must comply with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join or update their PVG Scheme. International travel of 3 months or more in the last five years requires an Overseas Criminal Record Check, which the candidate must provide.

Salaries will be set in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
