We are currently seeking a reliable and detail oriented Laundry & Domestic Assistant to support the delivery of high standards of cleanliness within a professional care setting.

About the Role
As a Laundry & Domestic Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the home is maintained to strict cleanliness and infection control standards. Your responsibilities will include.
- Cleaning and sanitising communal areas, resident rooms, and facilities in line with clinical hygiene standards.
- Carrying out laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, and folding items, ensuring appropriate handling of soiled and clean linen.
- Adhering to infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
- Supporting the wider team to maintain a safe, compliant, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Assisting across different areas of the service as required to ensure consistent standards are upheld.
You’ll Need
- Previous experience in a cleaning or laundry role is desirable, ideally within a care or healthcare environment.
- A strong understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and infection control practices.
- A professional, respectful approach when working within a resident-focused setting.
- Flexibility to support across different areas as needed.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards at all times.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
