At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit three part time In Store Cleaners based in Sainsbury’s Straiton store on a permanent basis, all with an hourly rate of £12.71.

Immediate start is available.

Shift Patterns 21 hours per week

• Sunday: Day Off
• Monday: 06:00 to 10:00
• Tuesday: 06:00 to 10:00
• Wednesday: 06:00 to 10:00
• Thursday: 06:00 to 09:00
• Friday: 06:00 to 09:00
• Saturday: 06:00 to 09:00

32 hours per week

• Sunday: 06:00 to 13:30
• Monday: 06:00 to 12:30
• Tuesday: 06:00 to 12:30
• Wednesday: 06:00 to 13:30
• Thursday: Day Off
• Friday: 06:00 to 12:30
• Saturday: Day Off

24 hours per week

• Sunday: 15:00 to 19:00
• Monday: Day Off
• Tuesday: 06:00 to 10:00
• Wednesday: 06:00 to 10:00
• Thursday: 06:00 to 10:00
• Friday: 06:00 to 10:00
• Saturday: 06:00 to 10:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Daily Tasks

• Operating machinery.
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
• In store cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies.
• Outside cleaning of trolley bays, keeping them free of leaves and debris.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.

What Will You Need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on job training will be supplied.

Eye for detail and cleanliness.

Positive attitude to cleaning and customer service.
