Technical Coordinator (Roofing)
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £30,000 – £52,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (standard office hours)
Working pattern: Hybrid (office/site coordination with some flexibility)
About the role
We are seeking a Technical Coordinator with direct roofing industry experience to join a growing roofing contractor in Glasgow.
This role is focused on coordinating roofing works from instruction through to completion, including scheduling operatives, managing live roofing projects, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
This is a roofing-specific coordination role and requires experience working within the roofing sector.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate roofing works from initial instruction through to completion
- Schedule roofing operatives and subcontractors for planned and reactive works
- Manage live roofing jobs and ensure timely progression of works
- Liaise directly with clients, site teams, and roofing contractors
- Maintain accurate job records, updates, and documentation
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with roofing safety requirements
About you
We are specifically looking for candidates with roofing industry experience.
You should have:
- Experience working within a roofing contractor or roofing service provider
- Understanding of roofing systems, repairs, and installation works
- Experience coordinating roofing operatives or roofing projects
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple roofing jobs simultaneously
Desirable experience
- Roofing contracts administration or coordination
- Reactive roofing repair scheduling
- Experience in flat roofing, pitched roofing, or cladding environments
- Knowledge of working at height environments and roofing safety procedures
