The Role

Teacher of Modern Languages (3-18)

Modern Languages is an exceptional 3-18 department with opportunities to teach French, Italian and Spanish across all levels.

Teacher of Modern Languages (3-18), fixed term, part time post from August 2026 (0.5 FTE until June 2027)

The successful candidate will teach a combination of French, Italian and Spanish at all certified levels. Students can choose languages from S2 onwards, and classes are taught in rotation at S1.

Staff are encouraged to develop engaging lessons, pursue a variety of pedagogical approaches, and create resources to support lessons and courses. Continuous professional learning and skills improvement are encouraged.

Applicants should nominate two referees. References will be taken before interviews and will be assessed against the person specification.
