The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday x2, x2. However this may become 24/7 at any time as per service needs.
Responsibilities
The role involves assisting registered practitioners and medical practitioners with delivery of care across multiple specialties within the perioperative environment. Tasks include:
- Preparing equipment and sundries for operating lists.
- Reporting broken items.
- Assisting with day to day tasks that maintain the smooth running of operating lists.
- Supporting learners new to the role.
- Completing a competency programme for HCSW’s in the perioperative environment.

Qualifications
Experience is desirable but not necessary. Training will be provided. You will be employed by South Sector NHSGGC and will work across multiple sites around Glasgow.
