About the Role
My client, an established and well-known firm based in North Lanarkshire, is seeking an experienced and confident Family/Litigation Senior Associate to join its team. This position is initially to cover maternity leave for a period of 15 months, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Solicitor who is comfortable managing their own caseload and delivering a high standard of client care in a supportive and professional environment. Flexible and part-time working arrangements will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of family and litigation matters independently
- Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and professionalism
- Handle cases from instruction through to resolution
- Work collaboratively with colleagues while demonstrating initiative and autonomy
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in family law and/or civil litigation
- Proven ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Confident, proactive and highly organised
- Excellent client liaison and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of service
