Shop Assistant
Location: Inverary Salary: £13.45 per hour Hours: No fixed hours Contract: Casual
Are you a retail superstar who is passionate about helping make a difference? We are looking for a dynamic shop assistant to join our friendly team on an as needed basis. This role will help you develop your retail skills while making a positive impact.
What will a day in the life of a Shop Assistant involve?
- Assist the shop manager in running a customer focused shop that serves as the ‘window of the British Red Cross’ on the high street.
- Create a brilliant shopping environment and provide an excellent in store customer experience.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, operate the till, and design striking displays.
- Sort stock and prepare items for display behind the scenes.
To be a successful Shop Assistant, what will you need?
- Previous retail experience and confidence handling money.
- Strong communication skills; thrive on providing excellent customer service and enjoy meeting a variety of people.
- A commercial savvy mindset with a grasp of hitting sales targets.
- Ability to appreciate and anticipate each customer’s needs and delight them with the service provided.
