Position Overview
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rata, with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country, which is exclusively granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and must be deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist imaging on a rotational basis by working in multiple clinical areas, including MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Cardio vascular, Neuro angiography and satellite imaging departments.
- Justify and perform radiographic examinations, providing direct care and a high quality diagnostic service to assist in the management of patients within the directorate of Radiology.
- Supervise and act as mentor to junior radiographers, ensuring continuity of service.
