Reach Stacker OperatorLocation: Grangemouth TerminalEmployment Type: Contract (with potential for permanent appointment)Hours: 35 hours per week (plus overtime as required)Working HoursThe role operates on a shift basis:06:00 – 12:00, Monday to Friday13:00 – 20:00, Monday to Friday 06:00 – 11:00, one Sunday in three for approximately 5 hoursRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Reach Stacker Operator to join our busy and professional terminal operation based at Grangemouth. The site is a key logistics hub responsible for the management, decanting, filling, and movement of sea containers transported via road and rail.In addition to core operational duties, the successful candidate will support general container maintenance and undertake basic checks and upkeep of the Reach Stacker equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct pre-use inspections and safety checks of the Reach Stacker equipmentUnload containers (typically up to 30 units) from incoming rail servicesPosition and organise containers for decanting and refilling operationsAssist with the emptying, cleaning, and preparation of containers for reuseLoad and unload vehicles as requiredPrepare for and support operations related to incoming and outgoing train servicesMaintain an organised depot environment, ensuring containers are stored efficiently for future movementCarry out all duties in accordance with company operational procedures and Health & Safety regulationsCandidate RequirementsProven, recent experience operating a Reach Stacker in a busy industrial or terminal environmenExperience handling and moving sea containersStrong understanding of safe working practices within a logistics or industrial settingAbility to work effectively as part of a teamAdditional InformationImmediate start available, subject to candidate availability and suitabilityCompetitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on experience and travel requirementsOpportunity for long-term engagement, with potential for permanent employment based on performance and mutual agreementApplication ProcessInterested candidates should contact:Mark Smith
