Experienced Optical Assistant – Bishopsbriggs, Glasgow, Scotland

My Client, a well established independent practice based in Bishopbriggs area recently under new management have a vacancy for a full time experienced Optical Assistant; are you passionate about eye care and customer service? They are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting customers with frame and lens selection
– Scheduling appointments and managing patient records
– Performing preliminary eye tests
– Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
– Collections and fittings

Qualifications:
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
– Previous experience in optical retail is a plus but not essential

Working hours;
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm
Alternate Saturday mornings ; 9.00am to 1.30pm
