FINTEC Recruit is seeking an Electronic Engineer for our successful and established engineering client based in Caithness and Sutherland.
This is a permanent, full-time position with relocation allowance/assistance if relevant.
Working Monday Thursday 8am 5pm, Friday 8am 12.30pm
Competitive salary depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic circuits and systems
- Work on battery management systems (BMS) and power electronics
- Produce schematics and PCB layouts
- Support testing, prototyping, and fault finding
- Create technical documentation
- Work closely with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
- Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards
Requirements for the Electronic Engineer
- Degree in Electronic Engineering (or similar)
- 3+ years experience in electronic design
- Experience with analogue, digital, or power electronics
- PCB design experience using tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or KiCad
- Embedded systems and microcontroller knowledge
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Experience with battery systems or BMS
- Knowledge of regulated or safety critical industries
- EMC/EMI experience
- Embedded C/C++ knowledge
