Commercial Electrician EV Charging Infrastructure
Location: Aberdeen, Inverness and surrounding areas
Job Type: Permanent
We are currently recruiting for experienced Commercial Electricians to join a growing team delivering EV charging infrastructure projects across Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-growing sector, supporting the installation of electric vehicle charge points across a range of commercial sites. Previous EV experience is desirable but not essential. Strong commercial electrical experience and the right qualifications are key.
The Role
-
Installation of EV charge points on commercial sites

Working on LV electrical systems
-
Carrying out installations in line with BS7671
-
Testing inspection and commissioning

Fault finding and maintenance when required

Working alongside site teams and project managers
Requirements
Essential
-
Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician
-
Level 3 Electrical Qualification such as NVQ or City and Guilds

18th Edition Wiring Regulations
-
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
-
EV charging installation experience

Test and Inspection qualification such as 2391

Experience working within utilities or ICP environments
