Job Description

Job Title: Glass Operator
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00 & Friday 07:00-12:30
Location: Livingston

Main Responsibilities:

  • Running waterjet cutting machinery to produce accurate cuts while reducing material waste.
  • Safely moving and positioning large glass panels using overhead cranes and vacuum lifting equipment.
  • Finishing and shaping glass edges to meet required dimensions and quality standards.
  • Checking glass products during processing for damage, imperfections, or faults.
  • Performing regular cleaning and basic upkeep of machinery and work areas.

Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • A safety-first mindset when handling delicate or breakable materials.
  • Strong eye for detail with a focus on maintaining high quality standards.
  • Ability to follow processes accurately and collaborate effectively within a team.
