Regional HSE Manager – Renewable Energy – Moray (Scotland) – £65-71k + bonus

We are supporting an innovative renewable energy business in the search for a Regional HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental performance across three operational sites in the north of Scotland.

The business are pioneers in anaerobic digestion technology, converting organic by-products into renewable biogas for electricity, gas and fuel generation. With continued global expansion and site growth, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company playing a key role in the transition to a low-carbon future.

This role will oversee a small regional HSE team and provide leadership across the sites, driving safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering the organisation s HSE strategy.

A key focus of the position will be supporting a major site expansion and managing the transition of one facility from Lower Tier to Upper Tier COMAH, ensuring robust Major Accident Hazard controls and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HSE performance across three operational sites

  • Manage and develop a small regional HSE team

  • Drive safety culture, coaching and continuous improvement

  • Lead incident investigations, audits and risk management

  • Ensure compliance with COMAH and environmental regulations

  • Maintain strong relationships with regulators including HSE and SEPA

  • Support emergency preparedness and Major Accident Hazard controls

Requirements

  • Experience within Top Tier COMAH environments (at least Lower Tier)

  • Proven HSE leadership experience

  • NEBOSH General Certificate

  • Strong experience with MOC, PTW and incident investigations

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills

  • Full UK driving licence
