About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Glasgow City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of infrastructure and development projects across Scotland and the wider UK.
You will play a key role in leading design work, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions for clients in sectors such as residential development, commercial infrastructure, and public realm projects.
Key Responsibilities of this Senior Civil Engineer role;
- Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to construction.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and reports.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Requirements of this Senior Civil Engineer role;
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards chartership).
- Proven experience in civil infrastructure design and project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of UK standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and infodrainage Civil 3D.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
