My client is a leading national developer contractor specialising in high end residential, including student accommodation and build to rent sectors. They are looking for a Project Manager for a large scale £180 million build to rent apartment scheme – 784 bed PBSA apartments, including amenity spaces and public realm works. The role will involve managing a large site team and delivering high rise projects of 20+ storeys.
Responsibilities
- Act as the central point of contact for the client and project team; coordinate day to day site activity and subcontractor performance.
- Support the Construction Director with programme development and design coordination.
- Manage risk, reporting structure, and project documentation.
- Ensure exceptional standards of health & safety, quality, and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Organise labour and sub contractors on site and deliver projects from inception through completion while managing trades.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 4, HND, or Degree in construction, development, or project management related subject.
- CSCS card and SMSTS qualification (essential).
- Health & safety training or First Aid certificate (advantageous).
- Experience managing high rise apartment projects, preferably 20+ storeys.
- Strong management skills and ability to work in a fast paced construction environment.
