PCV MechanicWe are looking for experienced PCV mechanics to join our Perth team. Potential earnings up to £52k per annum Joining bonus of £1500 (terms & conditions apply) Guaranteed 45 hours minimum with overtime potentially available Based at our Perth Depot Shift pattern Monday to FridayWe’re on the lookout for a skilled and proactive Fitter/Mechanic to join our award-winning team at Stagecoach Perth. Whether you’re an experienced PCV Engineer or have a background in HGV, LGV, automotive or plant maintenance, you could be just who we’re looking for.As part of a dedicated team, you’ll help maintain a modern and varied fleet to the highest safety and performance standards, supporting customers to get where they need to be, from healthcare and work to shopping and leisure. What you’ll be doing: Carrying out MOT repairs and maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet in line with Stagecoach and DVSA safety standards Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic tools Responding to vehicle issues both in the depot and out on the road Supporting a safe, efficient, and inclusive working environment Helping to train and support apprentices and junior team members What we’re looking for: A strong engineering background with a focus on vehicles, PSV, HGV, truck, haulage, plant, rail, automotive, or agricultural An NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field is desirable, but we’ll also consider strong practical experience A proactive approach to safety, teamwork, and delivering high standards Flexibility to work shifts and, occasionally, attend breakdowns away from the depot Full training provided, including health & safety, equipment use and cleaning standards Competitive hourly rates and opportunities for overtime Benefits including generous pension scheme, 34 days holiday, free travel for you and a companion, and a wide range of discounts including retail & leisure Career progression, many of our colleagues have grown into engineering, driving, and management roles A supportive, inclusive working environment where your wellbeing matters Our working environment Stagecoach is proud to be an inclusive employer.
