Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D structural engineering drawings using AutoCAD
- Create and develop 3D structural models using Revit software
- Prepare structural plans, elevations, sections, and details to company standards
- Interpret and implement technical information from structural engineers and stakeholders
- Provide technical support and guidance to the structural engineering team
- Manage and organise project-related documentation
- Ensure quality and accuracy of structural drawings and deliverables
- Review and check structural drawings for compliance with standards and specifications
- Liaise with architects, contractors, and other consultants on structural matters
- Adhere to company standards and procedures
Requirements
- Engineering Technician qualification (ICE EngTech or equivalent)
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in structural engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software
- Strong technical drawing and structural detailing skills
- Knowledge of relevant British Standards and Eurocodes for structural design
- Excellent numeracy and literacy with keen eye for detail
- Good problem-solving skills and logical approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Valid UK driving licence
