Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our client at this stunning luxury hotel.
Set in the idyllic Scottish Highlands, this tranquil hotel features a rosette restaurant as well catering for weddings, events and private functions.
What you will be doing:
- Working with and alongside the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
- Take full responsibility for the food and kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef including rotas, ordering and paperwork
- Support with leading, motivating and inspiring the kitchen team as well as encouraging creativity
What we were looking for:
- A strong Sous Chef with proven work history
- Ideally previous experience within a rosette kitchen and/or min 4 hotel
- Genuine passion for food, ingredients and customer service
- Eye for detail and presentation
- A proactive person, capable of motivating a team and working as part of
