- Operational Control

Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill level and workload.

Monitor workshop activity to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.

Ensure work is completed within agreed timeframes.

Control work in progress (WIP) to minimise delays.
- Quality Control

Ensure all work meets manufacturer and company standards.
-
Conduct final quality checks on completed jobs where required.

Ensure correct repair methods are followed.
- Team Coordination

Act as the main link between Service Advisors and Technicians.

Provide technical support and guidance to workshop staff.

Manage technician time and attendance.
- Workflow Management
-
Plan workshop capacity and schedule work accordingly.

Ensure parts required are ordered and available.

Monitor job progress and update Service Advisors.
- Health & Safety

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
-
Maintain a safe and clean workshop environment.
- Customer Service Support

Assist in resolving technical issues or customer concerns.

Support Service Advisors with technical explanations if needed.
- Performance Monitoring

Track technician efficiency and productivity.
-
Support achievement of labour sales targets.

Identify training needs within the team.
