Theatre Nurse
Job Description
We are looking to recruit experienced theatre practitioners either RGN or ODP to join our team. It would be desirable to have experience in scrub, circulating roles and anaesthetics although this is not a necessity.
You will have excellent communication skills, have the ability to work well in the multidisciplinary team, and have evidence of continuing professional development.
Specialties undertaken within day surgery/short stay theatres include gynaecology, urology, general surgery, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, oral/max and breast surgery.

- Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
- HCPC Registered or NMC pin
- Team Player
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Confident to set up theatres and run theatre lists
- Ability to use initiative and solve situations before escalating to others.
6 months UK NHS experience required
Skills and Competencies
- Clinical Skills: Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, patient assessment, and emergency response.
- Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and support patients.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to manage stress and handle emergent situations in a fast-paced environment.
