Facility Worker – JFAC Nights

Job Description

Northern State University seeks a highly motivated person to join our facilities team as a full-time night custodian in the Johnson Fine Arts Center.

Position Purpose

Performs routine building and equipment maintenance, custodial and security duties to ensure the overall maintenance and security of a facility. Dealing with public during events when necessary. Some weekend work required.

Job Duties

• Custodial and maintenance duties.
• Security procedures.
• Dealing with the public.

Abilities

• Follow oral and written directions.
• Operate required cleaning equipment.
• Perform lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Climb stairs and use step ladders.
• Work with variety of cleaning/chemical products.
• Some snow removal.
