Job Description
Our client, a leading player in the aerospace MRO sector, seeks a dedicated B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their dynamic team. This permanent role is pivotal in ensuring the maintenance and operational readiness of helicopters, specifically focusing on the Airbus H175 and rotary/avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with aerospace regulations and standards.
- Ensure all line maintenance tasks on helicopters meet UK CAA and M.O.E. instructions.
- Participate in flexible work planning and rosters to support business continuity.
- Complete maintenance within time scales to provide serviceable aircraft meeting operational needs.
- Conduct daily problem analysis and problem-solving based on pilot and relevant information.
- Brief and debrief pilots and the Chief Engineer on maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and support services to ensure necessary maintenance materials and spare parts are available on-site when needed.
- Report daily on the maintenance situation to the Chief Engineer.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in ICT, including aviation-specific software and MS Office.
- Professional level of English.
- Adherence to company procedures and processes related to operational, quality, and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills for debriefing pilots, flight crew, and the Chief Engineer, as well as handing over work between shifts.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in less controlled environments.
- Logical thinking with problem-solving capabilities.
- UK CAA Part 66 B2 Licence.
- At least one aircraft type endorsed on the licence (Airbus type is a plus).
- Significant experience in aviation and as a licensed engineer is preferred.
