CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator
Location: Alexandria, Scotland
Pay: £19.50 per hour + regular overtime
Hours: 4-day week Monday Thursday 07 30
The Role
We re recruiting an experienced CNC Turner to join a growing precision engineering business. This is a hands-on role where you ll be expected to programme, set and operate CNC lathes independently using Fanuc controls.
This position suits a time-served CNC Machinist who is confident working on their own, enjoys variety, and wants a genuine opportunity to progress as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme, set and operate CNC turning lathes (Fanuc)
- Work independently from engineering drawings
- Machine small batch and bespoke components to tight tolerances
- Maintain high quality and accuracy across all CNC machining work
- Contribute positively within a small, experienced team
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Machinist
- Confident programming at the machine, setting and operating
- Strong experience with Fanuc control systems
- Able to work unsupervised and manage your own workload
- Good drawing interpretation and attention to detail
