Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated advanced practitioner for plain film reporting. The role will include assisting with the day to day workload of a busy, high performing radiology department and the direct delivery of an effective radiographer reporting service.
NHSG Radiology Department provides imaging services to approximately 620,000 people living in Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. NHS Grampian is in an exciting phase of modernisation with key investments in radiology, including the Baird Family Hospital and the ANCHOR Centre. Radiology is a key component to the NHS Grampian Major Trauma Centre and other regional programmes of work.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day workload of a busy radiology department.
- Direct delivery of an effective radiographer reporting service.
- Collaborate with radiology colleagues to support high performance and efficient patient care.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in one or more radiographer reporting disciplines at master’s level or equivalent.
- Current experience of performing independent radiographer reporting at advanced practitioner level.

- As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata, with a corresponding increase in hourly rate.
