An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to lead our Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service team covering East & Mid Ross and Nairn. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Nurse Team Leader who can provide strong clinical leadership, advanced practice, and effective day to day service coordination. You will oversee local drug and alcohol recovery team staff, delivering recovery focused, trauma informed care across a broad rural locality.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing professional leadership, supervision and support to nursing staff
- Managing a specialist caseload of individuals with complex needs
- Delivering advanced clinical assessment, decision making and non medical prescribing
- Leading quality, governance, service improvement and workforce planning
- Working in partnership with HADP, Public Health, Mental Health, primary care and third sector organisations
Requirements
- Current NMC registration (RN Adult or Mental Health)
- Degree level qualification and relevant post registration experience in drug/alcohol recovery practice
- Non Medical Prescribing qualification
- Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills
- Full UK driving licence

- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part time hours will be adjusted on a pro rated basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
