Band 5 – 37 hours per week – Permanent

Division of Medicine and Unscheduled Care, ARI

1 x Permanent Post, Full Time – Long Term Conditions Pathway

1 x Permanent Post, Full Time – Urgent Unscheduled Care Pathway

We are delighted to advertise an exciting opportunity for 2 dynamic and innovative individuals to join our team as Assistant Support Managers. Both pathways comprise a wide variety of complex services delivering care to patients within both inpatient and outpatient settings and across a number of sites throughout NHS Grampian and beyond.

This is an excellent chance for an individual to build upon their experience in a fast paced and high profile service that represents a key performance area for NHS Grampian.

The successful candidates will have delegated responsibility for day to day operational service management support across a number of exciting services, as well as engaging in service improvement work and driving innovation and change.

We are looking to appoint organised and adaptable individuals with a proven track record of service delivery, excellent people management skills, experience in understanding and presenting data and significant experience of collaborative working. This is a demanding position, but one which will offer excellent opportunities for career development and progression.

Additional Information for Candidates

As from 01/04/2026, the Agenda for Change full time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
