Groundworks Foreman
£23 £26 per hour (DOE)

We re currently recruiting an experienced Groundworks Foreman on behalf of a well-established commercial groundworks and landscaping contractor delivering projects across the Central Belt, including Glasgow and Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity for a working foreman, with the option to bring a full squad, to join a contractor with a strong and consistent pipeline of work.

The role
This is a hands-on Foreman position, where you ll be leading from the front while overseeing site operations. Responsibilities include:

Supervising day-to-day groundworks activities on site

Leading and motivating a team to deliver work to programme and specification

Coordinating with site management, subcontractors, and clients

Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times

Reading and working from drawings and plans
-
Completing basic site paperwork and records
What we re looking for

SSSTS certification
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Strong background across all aspects of groundworks

Confident reading and interpreting drawings

Ability to lead a team while taking direction from site management

High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
