HVAC / COMMERCIAL GAS ENGINEER
JOB OVERVIEW
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC / Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out mobile maintenance works in Glasgow and surrounding areas.
Their client base includes (but is not limited to) commercial office blocks, industrial units, retail premises, and multi-site facilities.
We are looking for a candidate with strong HVAC and commercial gas experience, capable of working independently across multiple sites, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across HVAC and commercial gas systems.
Respond promptly to service calls and alarm requests via the central Helpdesk, completing works within agreed response times and updating job statuses upon completion.
Service, maintain, and fault-find on HVAC plant and equipment including:

Air handling units with gas-fired heating

LPHW systems
-
DX coils
-
Heat pump systems
-
Single split air conditioning systems
-
LPHW boilers
-
Pumps and inverters
-
DHW boilers
-
Water chillers
Identify non-repairable faults in plant and equipment, reporting findings to management and recommending suitable replacement solutions.
Ensure all works are carried out in full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, maintaining accurate maintenance records.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Recognised Commercial Gas qualifications holding at least four of the following:
COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1
F-Gas (2079) Qualification Desirable
18th Edition Wiring Regulations Desirable
Full UK Driving Licence Essential
SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary: £46,994 per annum
Full Time 42.5 hours per week
