Electrician
Location: Edinburgh
Contract Type: 6 Months
Hours: Predominantly nights (Sunday – Friday / 10pm – 6am)
Rate: 29.76 per hour
About the Role
LRL are currently recruiting for a qualified Electrician to join our client’s expert team, specialising in Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) installation. You will be working on a major long-term project at Edinburgh Airport, expected to run for 6 months, with opportunities to work across further UK airport and defence sites in the future.
Key Responsibilities

Complete all electrical installation works in line with current legislation and agreed scope of works.

Install LV wiring systems and AGL systems to specification.

Undertake cable pulling and containment installation.

Work to strict Health, Safety, and Quality Management standards.

Collaborate effectively with project teams to deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications & Skills Required

CSCS / JIB Card.

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.

AM2 Certification.
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Installation Electrician.

Proven experience in LV wiring system installation.

Familiar with containment installation.

Willing and able to carry out cable pulling.

Strong organisational and coordination skills.

Comfortable working outdoors in challenging environments.

Clean DBS check.

Full UK driving licence.
(Full AGL training will be provided – previous sector experience is desirable but not essential.)
